New Zealand’s highest court has rejected a bid to save a husky that killed a chicken and a guinea pig, Stuff reports. Aspen the husky was condemned to death after the High Court upheld an earlier decision that he be euthanised. Aspen was originally released back into his owners’ care, but re-seized by the council after the couple did not comply with orders that he be muzzled. In the application to the Supreme Court, the owners said they wanted a number of questions answered in regard to section 57 of the Dog Act.
