Eepidemiologist Amanda Kvalsvig said New Zealand needed a “layered approach” to protecting people this summer. “This summer should be the one when New Zealanders start to take air quality seriously. Summer weather gives us so many opportunities to stay connected and stay safe,” said Dr Kvalsvig.
