Christopher Luxon has taken his comments about the traffic light framework even further, The Spinoff reveals, calling for Auckland to move straight to green. Currently, as the epicentre of the delta outbreak, Auckland is in red. When questioned by media on Sunday in downtown Auckland while visiting local businesses, the new National Party leader said: “This sector here is ready for Auckland to go straight to green… there’s just no logic to his traffic light system.”
