The ‘unintended consequence’ of the Government’s rammed through traffic light law

The Government’s ‘traffic light’ law was rammed through Parliament at record speed – passed in under 24 hours, Newshub reports. But an employment lawyer says there’s a major mistake. Bridget Smith, Partner at SBM Legal, says the bit of law which says businesses can’t disclose the vaccination status of their employees doesn’t have a consent caveat, meaning even if their employees agree, businesses can’t advertise they’re all fully vaccinated.
