Managed isolation rooms snapped up for summer

All managed isolation rooms for November, December, January or February on offer in the eighth virtual MIQ lobby have been booked, Stuff reports. The lobby went live at 1pm on Thursday, and by 3pm all 4200 rooms were snapped up. Posts on social media suggested the queue for the rooms stretched to more than 14,000 entries. Anyone securing a room from now on will be required to complete only a seven-day MIQ stay, down from 14 days, following an announcement from the Government last month.
