Auckland cinemas are preparing to open after being closed for more than 100 days but going to the movies will be a different experience under the traffic light system, says NZ Herald. Cinemas have communicated to customers that the past few months have been difficult, but they are excited to reopen and welcome people back and are putting extra measures in place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Staff must check people’s vaccine passes before they enter the premises, and it’s advised they also verify it by checking people’s ID.
