The universities of Auckland and Waikato have signalled all staff, students and visitors will need to be vaccinated to be on campus, Stuff reports. University of Auckland vice chancellor Dawn Freshwater said the university advised staff on October 18 that it was considering requiring staff, students and visitors to be fully-vaccinated as a condition of being on campus, or, participating in university-organised, face-to-face activities. “This is a complex issue, however our number one priority throughout the pandemic has been to protect the health, safety and well-being of our university community.”
