A high-ranking official’s son and his partner allegedly breached Covid-19 Level 4 by crossing the Auckland border using essential worker exemptions, traveling via Hamilton, Wellington and Queenstown to a holiday home in Wānaka, Stuff reveals. The pair were reported by someone using the online Covid-19 “compliance” tool, and the man has now hired a lawyer – Auckland barrister Rachael Reed QC.
